Why only one layer of Fabric?

The first wet bags I purchased (large and travel size) where in the $20-$30 range from a popular brand. The wet bags had an outer layer of cotton print fabric and an inner layer of solid print PUL. After a couple of weeks of using them I noticed that the cotton fabric on the bag was absorbing the smell from the dirty diapers. Even after washing I noticed that the smell would not completely disappear. In addition, the cloth fabric seemed to contain some dampness even after drying. I began my search for a better bag option. I found a manufacturer that made bags out of only PUL. I was hopeful and contacted them for a sample. I found myself favoring the PUL sample bags to the one's of the popular brand. My husband even commented that the dirty diapers seemed to have less of a smell while in the PUL wet bags. One factor kept me from loving these bags. The sample bags that I received where very small and only fit about 3 diapers. I wash my diapers every 2 days and this would mean needing 5-6 small bags. I contacted the manufacturer and they agreed to make me custom sized bags. I am very excited to offer an alternative to steeply priced wet bags and hope my customer enjoy them as much as I do.
